Quadro Collection: questions parents ask

What is the difference between the Quadro Classic Crib and the Quadro Convertible Crib?

The Quadro Convertible Crib ($1,865) has five stages: Standard Crib (0–24 months), Toddler Bed and Daybed (24 months–4 years), then Full Size Bed and Customised Full Size Bed (4 years to forever). The Quadro Classic Crib ($1,560) converts to a Toddler Bed only. Both are solid hardwood with organic paint finishes, three mattress heights and Greenguard Gold certification.

Is the Quadro crib non-toxic?

Yes. The Quadro crib is Greenguard Gold certified, meaning it was tested for over 350 VOCs and 10,000 harmful chemicals. It's made in Europe from 100% solid hardwood with non-toxic, water-based and organic oil finishes and has no formaldehyde or VOC emissions. The mattress support is solid wood, and Romina says the crib is periodically tested to meet and exceed CPSC standards.

What do I need to turn the Quadro crib into a full-size bed?

You need the Quadro Conversion Kit ($530). It includes the left and right side rails plus two sets of support slats, so a box spring is optional. The Quadro Low-Profile Footboard ($530) is optional and opens up smaller rooms. For the toddler stage, add the Quadro Toddler Rail ($275), which fits Quadro cribs 18501 and 18510.
