The Karisma crib itself weighs 119 lb and is 100% solid beech hardwood, a Shaker design Romina says doesn't shake when your baby rocks it. The solid-back model measures 59 inches wide, 34 inches deep and 46 inches high at the headboard.

How do I convert the Karisma crib to a full-size bed?

The day bed is included. Add the Karisma Toddler Rail ($275) for models 5501/5502, then the Karisma Conversion Kit ($530). Its hardwood rails hook onto the footboard and bolt onto the headboard, and its two slat rolls hold most mattresses without a box spring. The Low-Profile Footboard ($504) is optional, and hole covers are free on request.
