Simple answer is No. There is a CPSC standard for the inside of a crib so all are generally similar in size. The difference is made in the design and how solid the build is.
You need a place for your baby to sleep on first night home and last night before college. If you buy a good quality crib you don't have to spend money again so 18+ years is what you should be expecting.
