Which Romina sets and pieces ship fast, what "2–4 weeks" actually covers, and how to plan around a due date.
Short answer: Romina's Quick-Ship options are delivered in an estimated 2–4 weeks, while most custom orders take 9–12 weeks. The core of the program is the six Quick-Ship Sets: a 5-stage convertible crib and a double dresser (plus a full-bed conversion kit in the Karisma Crib to College Set), each in a short list of best-selling finishes. Some individual cribs, dressers and accessories can also ship quickly in selected finishes; the ETA line on each product page shows the estimate for the exact finish you pick. Everything is the same 100% solid wood, Made in Europe, Greenguard Gold certified furniture with a 3-year warranty.
Quick-Ship vs custom order: the timelines
These are the estimates Romina publishes on its collection pages, product pages and shipping policy (November 2026):
| What you order | Estimate on the site | Where it's stated |
|---|---|---|
| Quick-Ship sets and Quick-Ship finishes | 2–4 weeks | Quick-Ship collection FAQ ("delivered in 2-4 weeks"); set pages ("estimated fulfillment time 2-4 weeks") |
| Custom orders (any of the 13 finishes) | Most take 9–12 weeks | Collection FAQ; shipping policy ("unless otherwise posted on the respective product page") |
| Parts, hardware, color samples | Most take 5–7 business days | Collection FAQ; finish sample pages |
| Large items in transit | Allow 7–10 business days on top of the processing time posted on the product page | Shipping policy |
The wording varies a little from page to page ("delivered", "fulfillment", "ships in"), so read Quick-Ship as "a few weeks instead of a few months", not as a guaranteed date. If you're working to a hard deadline, plan on the longer end and confirm with Romina before you order.
The six Quick-Ship Sets
Every set in the Quick-Ship Sets collection pairs a 5-stage convertible crib with that collection's double dresser. The daybed kit is included with the crib; toddler rails are sold separately. Sets intentionally come in fewer finishes than individual pieces, because those are the finishes kept ready to ship.
| Set | What's in it | Finishes offered | Price (Nov 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Karisma Nursery Set | Convertible crib + double dresser | Albero Puro, Solid White | $3,908 |
| New York Essentials Nursery Set | New York 5-in-1 crib + double dresser, brushed gold slim handles | Albero Puro with a Solid White or Rosemary accent | $4,092 |
| Dakota Nursery Set | Convertible crib + double dresser | Harvest, Solid White | $4,093 |
| Cleopatra Nursery Set | Convertible crib + double dresser | Solid White | $4,124 |
| Uptown Nursery Set | Convertible crib + double dresser, black or gold bar handles | Solid White, Solid Black | $4,173 |
| Karisma Crib to College Set | Convertible crib (solid back) + double dresser + full-bed conversion kit | Albero Puro, Ash, Aqua Gray, Harvest, Navy, Nocello, Peppercorn | $4,412 |
Prices are from the product pages in November 2026 and can change. For comparison, the same crib and double dresser bought separately cost roughly $180 to $210 more (for example, the Karisma Convertible Crib at $1,725 plus the Karisma Double Dresser at $2,365 is $4,090, against $3,908 for the set). Our solid wood nursery furniture sets guide goes deeper on what each set includes.

Which set fits which nursery?
- Lowest price and a sturdy Shaker look: the Karisma Nursery Set. Karisma is the crib Romina describes as one that "does not shake" when your baby starts jumping; read more in our Karisma Shaker crib guide.
- Mid-century modern, natural wood: the New York Essentials set in Albero Puro, a clear coat that shows the natural grain, with a white or green accent. Compare it with Uptown in New York vs Uptown.
- A crisp modern room in black or white: the Uptown Nursery Set, with a choice of black or gold bar handles. Note the Uptown Convertible Crib uses a metal mesh mattress support; all other Romina cribs use a wood slat platform.
- A statement piece: Dakota (Art Nouveau curves, warm Harvest or Solid White) or Cleopatra (classic English, Solid White). See statement cribs for photos.
- Planning past the toddler years, or wanting gray or navy: the Karisma Crib to College Set has the widest finish choice of the six and already includes the full-bed conversion kit, with box spring included, so later you only add a standard full-size mattress.
Individual pieces that can ship fast
Romina also keeps a broader QuickShip collection of individual pieces. As of November 2026 it lists cribs such as the New York 5-in-1 Crib, Uptown Convertible Crib, Karisma Convertible Crib (open back) and Imperio Convertible Crib (open back); dressers such as the New York Double Dresser and Uptown Single Dresser; the Uptown Bookcase; both changing trays; and the mattress support.
The important detail: for individual pieces, Quick-Ship depends on the finish. A crib that's offered in 13 finishes may be ready to ship in only one or two of them. That's why each product page has an ETA line next to the 3-year warranty badge. Choose your finish and the ETA updates; a "Quick-Ship" label appears when that combination qualifies. If you see a date range months out, that finish is made to order.
Tip: if you're flexible on color but not on timing, pick the piece first, then click through the finishes and watch the ETA. If the label and the ETA ever seem to disagree, ask Romina to confirm before you check out.
What happens after you order
- Confirmation. You get an email with your order number; the "Availability" section lists the approximate ship-out date, which can change.
- Inspection and shipping notice. Every piece is inspected before it ships. Once your order passes inbound inspection at the local distribution center, you get a shipping notification.
- Delivery appointment. The carrier calls at least 24 hours ahead to schedule. Romina ships to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C., not to PO boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
- Delivery day. Standard delivery is threshold delivery: the carrier brings the furniture, usually on a pallet, to the first dry, accessible point at your entrance (front door, doorway threshold or garage). It isn't carried inside or unpacked. Optional White Glove delivery ($345, subject to availability) adds room placement, unpacking and packaging removal; most White Glove providers won't install cribs or beds.
- Inspect before you sign. An adult must be present, and you're allowed 30 minutes to check the packages. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and report it within 7 days; Romina files the carrier claim. Details are on the warranty page.
Furniture ships at the rates shown at checkout: $50 on orders of $100.01 to $325.00 and $125 on orders of $325.01 and up. Color samples and small replacement parts ship free. See the FAQ for the full list.
A simple ordering timeline
Since furniture is one of the few nursery items you can't pick up the same day, it helps to work backward from your due date:
- Want a specific finish or a two-tone New York piece? Order samples first ($10 each, most arrive in 5–7 business days), then place a custom order at least three months before you need it to cover 9–12 weeks plus delivery scheduling.
- Two months out or less? Look at the Quick-Ship Sets, or at individual pieces whose ETA shows Quick-Ship in your finish.
- Leave time to assemble. Cribs and beds need assembly, so set aside an evening (manuals are on the assembly manuals page). Anchor the dresser to the wall using the three-way wall-anchoring system included with Romina case goods before the first diaper change.
- Add-ons later. Toddler rails and conversion kits are sold separately, so they don't need to arrive with the crib. Romina's guide to when to convert to a toddler bed helps with timing.
For a full list of what the room needs, see the nursery furniture buying guide.
Is fast shipping a trade-off on quality?
No. Quick-Ship is about which finishes are ready, not about a different product. Quick-Ship sets and pieces are the same 100% solid wood furniture with organic, water-based finishes, Greenguard Gold certified (every Romina crib and case good, not a selection), tested to CPSC and ASTM requirements, and Romina has never had a product recall. Cribs and case goods carry a 3-year limited warranty, and the drawer glides and hinges are built to last 73 years. Every convertible crib in the sets goes through the same five stages listed on the crib pages: Standard Crib, Toddler Bed, Daybed, Full Size Bed w/ Footboard and Full Size Bed.
