    Quality furniture

We first bought Romina years ago from a local store specializing in baby & children's furniture. We did not want throwaway furniture and preferably not from China. You pay more for this furniture but it is worth it! Of course we now have our share of scuffs and marks (with 3 children and nearly 2 decades passing) but the furniture itself is as sturdy and functional as the day we bought it, and it remains beautiful despite the blemishes! When we needed a dresser to match the Imperio bed we bought more than a decade ago, Romina still had that line available for online purchase - it is timeless and there is no need to have a new style every 6 months to be trendy! In addition, customer service helped us determine which finish we had (the dark browns look similar to each other). The new dresser is solidly built and beautiful, with cushion-close drawers, dovetail joints, and solid hardwoods that do not off-gas strange chemical smells. I expect it to last decades like our prior purchases. The delivery was a little later than they originally estimated, but we got a free upgrade to "room of choice" delivery instead of having to haul the heavy dresser upstairs ourselves. My son is pleased with his new room arrangement, and we are very satisfied with the product and the company. I definitely recommend Romina!

Questions and Answers

Beechwood and White Oak which are both hardwoods and naturally durable.

Unlike mass produced furniture, we apply stain then smoothen out (sand down) 3 times before clear sealant. No chemicals needed to increase finish strength.

Simple answer is No. There is a CPSC standard for the inside of a crib so all are generally similar in size. The difference is made in the design and how solid the build is.

You need a place for your baby to sleep on first night home and last night before college. If you buy a good quality crib you don't have to spend money again so 18+ years is what you should be expecting.
